Roland Collins 800023 Posted January 30, 2011 at 05:57 PM Posted January 30, 2011 at 05:57 PM With 12~13 years of continuous service as VP Regions, starting in SATCO HQ with Harv and then both of us going into VATSIM as Founders, I have decided that it is time for me to step down from the position of VATSIM VP Regions. After a birthday on the weekend I have moved into full-retirement and now plan to take time off and enjoy some travel around the world with a partner; instead of travelling alone on business. I enjoy travelling; it has taken me to 5 of the 6 VATSIM regions and I plan to complete that with an extensive visit to South America. Other exciting destinations are also on the horizon. It has been a long journey and in that time I have been able to achieve many goals working with others to get VATSIM to where it is today. At the same I made a lot of life-long friends all around the world. I may not be around so much from now on but as a Founder I am not going to be far away. Best wishes to all my friends at VATSIM.
