Rob Killins 897126 Posted January 31, 2011 at 03:25 AM Posted January 31, 2011 at 03:25 AM I need some troubleshooting [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance ... I have this sector defined in my ESE... SECTOR:ZWG_BR_CTR:0:65000 OWNER:WGBR:WGW:WGC:ZWGRDO BORDER:E11:E12:E13:I23:I24 When I connect to VATSIM to control this sector (position ZWG_BR_CTR, owner WGBR), I am not getting the sector active background nor the visibility rings showing up on connection. Am I missing something? What links need I ensure are made correctly?

Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted January 31, 2011 at 01:33 PM Posted January 31, 2011 at 01:33 PM ZWG_BR_CTR:WINNIPEG BROADVIEW CENTRE:124.300:WGBR:BR:ZWG:BR_CTR:-:-:0600:0619:N050.46.27.250:W103.25.38.560 OK, first did you see the Wiki? http://euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=ESE_Files_Description Your line should look like this: ZWG_BR_CTR:WINNIPEG BROADVIEW CENTRE:124.300:WGBR:BR:ZWG:CTR:-:-:0600:0619:N050.46.27.250:W103.25.38.560 in that way your sector will be matched with every VATSIM position with frequency 124.300 and callsign ZWG_X_CTR, where X can be anything or missing. Rob Killins 897126 Posted January 31, 2011 at 02:22 PM Author Posted January 31, 2011 at 02:22 PM Thank you Todor .. OK, first did you see the Wiki? http://euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=ESE_Files_Description Yes ... I did. All I understood was .... "Prefix and suffix are the first and last parts of the callsign used to identify the position" The position as I know it is ZWG_BR_CTR ... Prefix ZWG, Suffix BR_CTR. The Wiki (IMHO) was not clear in stating that "X" was [Mod - Happy Thoughts]umed and that the suffix was limited to the generic VATSIM only ... CTR, DEP, APP, TWR, GND .... I was unaware that that was how Euroscope worked.
