Max Famoso 977692 Posted February 8, 2011 at 04:08 PM Posted February 8, 2011 at 04:08 PM Hello all. Something happened to my PC lately which caused some problems with FS9: 1. The key combination CTRL+E to turn engines on had disappeared and I had to re-[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign it (it works properly now). 2. When into an aircraft I am no longer able to open (when in VC) the instruments windows using key combinations like, for instance, SHIFT+3 (Pedestal panel), SHIFT+7 (FMS), and so forth... The simple idea of re-installing everything just makes me sick, you know what I mean... Any suggestions/solutions? Thank you in advance, MAX. Max Famoso 977692 Posted March 20, 2011 at 05:39 PM Author Posted March 20, 2011 at 05:39 PM SOLUTION FOUND: Hello there. Here is the solution I found, to whom it may concern... I just reset the Controls [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignments of my FS9. In fact, even though the aforesaid key combinations are not listed in the control [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignments of FS, this worked perfectly. Cheers, Max. Wycliffe Barrett Posted March 21, 2011 at 09:03 AM Posted March 21, 2011 at 09:03 AM and now can I suggest you back up your flight sim folder and then you will never have to worry about reinstalling. There are some very good backup packages available to purchase but you know Windows has its own very good backup. Win 7's is spiffing and works a treat.
