Mike Monk 1176727 Posted February 18, 2011 at 02:46 PM Posted February 18, 2011 at 02:46 PM Although it might seem trivial I have found a problem in VATSpy with the position of VTBS-Bangkok International (Suvarnabhumi) Airport. Suvarnabhumi Airport's position is 13.681108N 100.747283E. The ICAO code for Chon Buri Airport, which is mistakenly identified as VTBS in VATSpy, is VTBT. These can be updated quite easily by opening the VATSpy.dat file in Notepad. Regards Mike
Jonas Eberle Posted February 19, 2011 at 01:11 AM Posted February 19, 2011 at 01:11 AM Thank you. I have no clue about VATSpy, but I updated it in QuteScoop. I hope it is correct like that: VTBD:Don Muang:Bangkok:TH:13.912:100.607 VTBS:Suvarnabhumi:Bangkok:TH:13.68:100.74 VTBT:Chon Buri:Chon Buri:TH:13.367:100.
Tim Murphy Posted March 10, 2011 at 01:06 PM Posted March 10, 2011 at 01:06 PM Hi. When there is updates to airspace borders, who do you contact about this? For example the Moncton FIR has airspace north of the original airspace now handled FL290 and above by us, and FL280 and below by CZUL, however the system has CZUL in control of all FL. Excellent program - VATSpy - I use it ALL the time. Super easy, and fast. Thanks folks, Tim Murphy Help a newbie! http://czqm.ca QM/QX Instructor
