In the end, throwing a few more bills on the counter usually pays off in the long run. Better functionality and quality, you can probably use that headset for many moons to come... tom van der elst Posted February 20, 2011 at 07:11 PM Posted February 20, 2011 at 07:11 PM darned right. Used to have a Logitech headset of about 40 euro's which lasted 7 months and now I'm using a Plantronic headset that has been around for over two years. That was double the expense of the Logitech though but it is a lot more comfortable and very sturdy. The Logitech one just snapped in two and it couldn't be fixed. No more Logitech for me, then. Steven Caffey Posted February 20, 2011 at 09:00 PM Posted February 20, 2011 at 09:00 PM I have 2 headsets, a Plantronics H31 (in ear) and a Logitech over the head. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3130431 This replaced a $20 store brand headset and is a huge improvement. I also have a David Clark H10-13.4, but that's for real flying. I'd never hear anything outside of it if I used it on the computer.. Mark Savard 1171922 Posted February 23, 2011 at 01:50 PM Posted February 23, 2011 at 01:50 PM I use the Logitech Clear Chat Headset and I love it. Great sound, fits comfortable on my head, and light. Romano Lara Posted February 23, 2011 at 03:20 PM Posted February 23, 2011 at 03:20 PM I am using an ordinary A4Tech headset here. Been with me since 2008 and still going! It delivers me the same clarity of voice when using online. Except that you can't wear it straight for more than 5 hours. What I usually do is, just leave it on the table, put the output on the speakers, no ear stress.
