Anthony Mendez 1183367 Posted March 1, 2011 at 07:36 PM Posted March 1, 2011 at 07:36 PM I can't remember the name of the ATC got me into KBOS on my flight from KEWR last night/evening, but I wanted to say thank you! (I had callsign UAL437) I couldn't see a thing and, as a newbie, that can be a little intimidating at night as I place my trust in the instruments, but the ATC was dead on in getting my down from my cruise altitude and where I could intersect the localizer. Scrolling back and forth between my charts and the monitor while deciding the best runway when ATC's can be quite some pressure. Even though it's virtual, the suspension of disbelief takes over when flying online and a "wrong" move can send your heart rate up a notch. I'm loving VATSIM and I can't say enough about the people I've flown with! Keep it up! -Anthony
David Malinowski 1087539 Posted March 1, 2011 at 09:05 PM Posted March 1, 2011 at 09:05 PM I think I remember you. I was on Newark when you flew in. As for BOS I think it might have been Don Desfosse, not sure though. Thanks for flying and enjoy VATSIM!
