I'm surprised no one is asking why VATSIM feels the need to shield us from inappropriate language.

 

I disagree with the idea of protecting others from words.

 

To my way of thinking, it's not about shielding or protecting us from inappropriate language. It's about striving to maintain a certain level of professionalism and maturity that the founders wish to present to both the current membership and potential new members.
