Mike Tabb Posted March 7, 2011 at 03:25 AM Posted March 7, 2011 at 03:25 AM I've been reading about alot of the freezeup issues and I'm sure they are all connected in some way but I don't find anybody with my circomestances. I have a brand new AMD 6 core Phenom II box with 8 Gig ram, 2 ATI Radeon 8770 video cards running Windows 7. On that box, I loaded back in November 2010, FSX and FS9. I've been flying on both but FSX seems to be the most unstable. I can fly connected to Squawkbox pretty well. I cannot connect successfuly to FSINN. Tonight I'm trying to learn to operate my new PMDG MD11 and I"m not even connected to VATSIM flying a tutorial flight and 1 hour into the flight, FSX freezes (unconnected to VATSIM) and shuts down. If I try to fly FSX with FSInn, it freezes (white screen and then shuts down.) If I fly FSX with Squawkbox, it's seems stable for hours,,,all day. I'm not using paywayer FSUIPC,,,just the free copy. FSX seems to get very unstable when multiplayer levels increase or if you get into a busy area with multiplayer. Have those sliders all the way down but still unstable although it helps some. Can somebody help me with this? Thanks, Mike
