David Oliveira Posted March 15, 2011 at 01:48 AM Posted March 15, 2011 at 01:48 AM Hello, Is there any way to change the volume in EuroScope, and if not, can a plugin be made to do that? Thanks alot David Oliveira David Oliveira ZNY Deputy Events Coordinator
Even Rognlien Posted March 15, 2011 at 09:27 AM Posted March 15, 2011 at 09:27 AM Yes, that would be a great thing to have. I also wish there was a plugin or software where we can adjust the b[Mod - Happy Thoughts] and treble in the microphones input. Many microphones sounds too b[Mod - Happy Thoughts]y on Vatsim(for example my Plantronics H61 headset), and I have tested using MorphVox, that increasing the treble makes a much cleaner sound over the vatsim voice network. The problem with MorphVOX is that the transmission for some reason break up when you talk, and it's payware.
Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted March 15, 2011 at 05:09 PM Posted March 15, 2011 at 05:09 PM Hm, maybe I don't understand where you are going to, but ES just uses the windows settings for the microphone, so if you need to turn down the volume, you can do that in the windows volume controls? I don't think this is something ES needs to do, this is windows' part. David Oliveira Posted March 15, 2011 at 07:46 PM Author Posted March 15, 2011 at 07:46 PM The thing is, I want to turn UP the volume (too quiet) and volume wont go up any higher. I know VRC does it, just wanted to know if I could on ES David Oliveira ZNY Deputy Events Coordinator
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted March 15, 2011 at 07:48 PM Posted March 15, 2011 at 07:48 PM VRC does exactly what ES is doing. Check your device settings in Windows. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
David Oliveira Posted March 15, 2011 at 09:50 PM Author Posted March 15, 2011 at 09:50 PM There is a Volume control Inside of VRC, though. Can't find one in ES David Oliveira ZNY Deputy Events Coordinator

David Oliveira Posted March 15, 2011 at 11:27 PM Author Posted March 15, 2011 at 11:27 PM I know about the Windows Sliders, but what about a volume control INSIDE of EuroScope. Can it be done? Or some sort of Volume Booster? David Oliveira ZNY Deputy Events Coordinator
Gergely Csernak Posted March 16, 2011 at 10:52 AM Posted March 16, 2011 at 10:52 AM The voice library is not specific to ES. It is a VATSIM library and used in many clients. I looked after volume settings and found only one function to change the output volume. It is not available from the user interface of ES. Gergely.
