Untracked, IFR targets displying "[" instead of "I"

Just recently, and not sure why I just noticed it, I've realized my primary, untracked IFR targets in VRC under DSR radar mode display a "[" rather than an "I" (as described in the manual). I reinstalled VRC and the VRC Terminal font. My remaining fonts look normal. Is there a chance anyone may know anything about this?

Thanks.

Is hardware acceleration off? When hardware acceleration is on, it tends to block certain graphics from the VRC display. That's what this kind of looks like.

I have the exact same problem. Also when running ARTS or one of the ground/tower based modes, planes that squawk standby don't show up as diamonds like they're supposed to, but they show up as L-shaped blobs. And planes that squawk VFR don't show up as squares, they show up almost like a backward D.

If you are running Windows 7, unfortunately you can't change the hardware acceleration. Sadly, that is probably the only way to fix the symbols display. I would hope there is possibly another way to solve this issue, it drives me crazy.
