OBS is for the controller side. technically as a pilot you are an OBS (Observer). for controllers it means you have no ratings. you can ignore that if you dont plan to control. for pilots, theres pilot ratings, currently the only pilot rating is P1 since its a new system. check out the various training programs that offer pilot training in the VA partners list. keep in mind pilot ratings are not required to fly on the network, unlike ATC ratings which are required to provide ATC services on the network Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You use an application called VRC (windows only) to observe. There are obserevr guides out there somewhere.
