Hey Folks. Looking for advice here.

A while back i registered at the VATCAN website to become a controler. Shortly after doing so, I ran into some pc issues. I'm now getting back into the swing of things, and want to start on controling. Unfortunatly, I cant remember any of the info to start on this. I was wondering if someone could please point me down the path, and who i need to contact to start controling.

Thanks

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

From looking through the records, I've found the following info for you:

FIR: Toronto

Rating: Observer

Voice certification: No

Thus - you haven't had ASRC training or written any tests yet.. I would suggest contacting your Chief, in this case, Brendan McCurry, at bmccurry [at] mts.net and explaining your desire to get back into it

He should be able to contact Eric Fortin to arrange ASRC Training, and get you /S software rated.

From there, FIR specific training will take place, along with your earning of the Student (S1) rating after p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ing the appropriate test.

Best of luck with it, and feel free to send me a message when I'm on as either CZQM_V_CTR or VATCAN8!

Matt
