Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) ?

I am not sure what is the reason of this behaviour, but when I saw Michael was using 64bit system and Stephan said something about x86 C++ can it be the reason? 32 bit app on 64bit OS? We all know the MS products, maybe some incompatibility?
