Cast off in ye furners and make ye way down to the good ol' New York ARTCC to go on the account for some of that sweet trade! Shiver me timbers, those scallywag New York ARTCC controllers have hidden booty all throughout the ARTCC and it's ye job to find it! The treasure maps indicate that the booty may be located at any airport within ZNY that has an ICAO identifier beginning with a 'K'. This event ain't for ye lily-livered or ye landlubbers. Aye ye gentlemen o' fortune, privateers and bucaneers alike, come on down and find some doubloons for ye self! Don't be afraid of the swashbucklin', just be careful not to end up in Davy Jones' Locker... Sunday, April 10th, 2011 2:00-6:00 PM EDT (1800-2200z) One lucky winner will receive a copy of the much anticipated PMDG 737NGX! Other prizes include 5 PMDG Aircraft, numerous sceneries, real world aviation paraphernalia, and much much more! Pilots must complete a full stop landing at any ZNY airport with an ICAO 'K' prefix to be eligible for a prize. Of the pilots that land at an airport containing hidden treasure, one or more will be selected at random to receive a prize. A multitude of aviation, flight simulator, and air traffic control related prizes will be awarded. Winners names will be posted after the event and winners will be contacted by a New York ARTCC representative to arrange delivery.
