Colin Levy 976130 Posted April 15, 2011 at 11:43 PM Posted April 15, 2011 at 11:43 PM I have an old keyboard that is very loud...making those click click click sounds in response to that press of the keys. I have never owned a gaming keyboard, but heard their super quiet, anyone have in suggestions?
Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted April 15, 2011 at 11:52 PM Posted April 15, 2011 at 11:52 PM is the clicking coming from the keys hitting the base of the keyboard? dont hit the keys so hard or a cheap fix. remove all the keys, then put a very thin layer of rubber on the keyboard. duct tape usually works too then put the keys back in. shouldnt hear the tapping of the keys anymore
Richard Gerrish Posted April 16, 2011 at 01:33 AM Posted April 16, 2011 at 01:33 AM probably from the springs if its as old as i think it is. as for the gaming ones I love the couple that i have on my systems. they are quite a bit quieter then the old keyboards. Even most of the multimedia keyboards are faily quiet. Best thing to do is to go down to staples, frys ect and try a few out and see if you like both the feel and noise level. Chase Dollar 1090155 Posted June 16, 2011 at 08:01 PM Posted June 16, 2011 at 08:01 PM I love my new gaming keyboard. It is backlit, and has a touch media controller. Very quiet, and about 80 dollars. http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169417800/parentCategoryID.35156900/categoryId.54626400 Chase Dollar - C1 - 1090155 Atlanta ARTCC | MTR
