Mark Bennett 1041058 Posted June 2, 2011 at 09:33 AM Posted June 2, 2011 at 09:33 AM Does anyone know where you can find aircraft profiles for use with vasFMC - I'm interested in using it with the Freeware Premier Aircraft Q400 so I can use it on Vatsim. I've tried editing one myself but just get a crash as soon as I load it.

You can ask at their forums, but I can only wish you good luck as they have a PR problem
Randy Tyndall 1087023 Posted June 3, 2011 at 01:28 AM Posted June 3, 2011 at 01:28 AM Mark, I probably won't be of much help and I can [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ure you going to the vasFMC site will not help you. Alex's focus is on the Airbus and the airbus only. Here's the link for vasFMC forums: http://forum.vas-project.org/ It also depends on which version of vasFMC you have installed. I have actually added vasFMC 2.1 to both a B777, B737, and a CRJ-700 panel. Both worked up until a bug that is plaguing everyone using 2.1 (even the airbusses) showed up and the addon crashes at the INITB page of the MCDU. Until they release the bug fix I won't be using vasFMC gauge version, just the standalone. The logic for v2.1 is completely different than the logic for v2.09g so what worked in one won't work in the other. There is a Malev Q400 somewhere on the AVSIM library that already has vasFMC 2.09g incorporated in the panel. Right here: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Malev+vasfmc&CatID=root&Go=Search It uses the Dreamwings Q400 as the platform, but if you have 2.09 then simply aliasing to that panel may be all you need. Hope this helps. Randy Tyndall - KBOI ZLA I-11/vACC Portugal P4 “A ship is always safe in the harbor.
