At the heart of the divisional ATC Training Director role is the need to oversee the progression of candidates in a way that does not create unnecessary restrictions/delays whilst also maintaining good quality control.

• Oversee the performance of the various vACC Training Departments across the division

• Manage the Instructor and Examiner rosters for both local and divisional examiners

• Facilitate Controller Practical Tests within vACCs where divisional involvement is required, either due to CPT requirements or in inactive vACCs

• Identify vACCs that need support and provide [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance through the vACC Support department to become more active and work towards achieving the requirements of an official vACC

• Maintain the divisional Training Pages including the ATC Manual

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or more and preferably possess a minimum of 24 months VATSIM membership

• A member in good standing within a VATEUD vACC, vACC staff experience would be a plus

• Good level of English, other European languages advantageous

• Expected to be able to commit approx 7 hours per week to the tasks at hand.

This is one of the most demanding positions within the division. The successful candidate must be a good communicator, have a clear vision and be prepared to commit for the longer-term, 2-3 years at least.

Please submit your applications to Martin Bergin, VATEUD1 at [email protected] adding Thomas George ([email protected]) and Peter Nielsen ([email protected]) as carbon-copy recipients.
