Quinton Moretz 1198500 Posted July 26, 2011 at 04:02 PM Posted July 26, 2011 at 04:02 PM Can anyone suggest a really good weather add-on for X-Plane 9. Looks as though Active Sky is for FSX. Also, what is the best free-ware weather add-on or do they all come with a price?

Wade Williams 877539 Posted July 27, 2011 at 02:03 AM Posted July 27, 2011 at 02:03 AM There are no X-plane weather add-ons of which I'm aware. XSquawkBox uses VATSIM weather.
Alexander Cohrs Posted July 27, 2011 at 07:49 AM Posted July 27, 2011 at 07:49 AM REX is available also for X-Plane, at least for Windows users. Unfortunately, not for Mac guys like me. Alex
Keith Smith Posted August 4, 2011 at 04:24 PM Posted August 4, 2011 at 04:24 PM The best weather add-on for XP9 would be XP10. It should be out later this year XP9 is not capable of having multiple weather systems loaded at the same time (ie, one weather system to the west, and another to the east). It can handle multiple layers, certainly, but it's still just a single weather system. What enhancement are you looking for, specifically?
