small poll: which monitor resolution are you using for web?

May I ask a small question?

 

for some different tasks I am asked a couple of times which resolution displays should have so that you can see them without scrolling...

 

I would like to know the width of your current screen you are watching our forums. Please let us keep the mobile stations out, they vary quite dramatically, so just PC or MAC station resolutions are asked for...

 

Ah, and btw: if you don't find the resolution in the choices, take a lower one...

The near-universal benchmark used by most web designers & developers is 960px. This is enough room on a 1024x768 screen with a little bit left over for any oddities in rendering.

Didn't have any trouble either, took my vote first time itself!! I didn't see the msgs until after I had cast my vote!!
