Larry Reeves 946425 Posted December 17, 2005 at 04:51 PM Posted December 17, 2005 at 04:51 PM I am thinking of changing my joystick & throttle. For the past couple of years I have been using a Thrustmaster HOTAS cougar which is modeled after the F-16 system to the smallest detail, very expensive and far more advanced for someone like me with limited computer skills. If I stray from the default settings and attempt programing I'm creating problems and presently some problems are developing that I think are going to get worse. I have been looking at "Saitek" joysticks as I do want to stay with the joystick and separate throttle systems. SO, I would certainly appreciate suggestions from some of you experienced pilots. thank you, Larry Reeves
Jim Reichheld 893822 Posted December 17, 2005 at 06:14 PM Posted December 17, 2005 at 06:14 PM I use the Saitek X45 and love it, I was looking at the X52 but do not like the idea of going back to a twist rudder.
