Joy stick suggestions

I am thinking of changing my joystick & throttle. For the past couple of years I have been using a Thrustmaster HOTAS cougar which is modeled after the F-16 system to the smallest detail, very expensive and far more advanced for someone like me with limited computer skills. If I stray from the default settings and attempt programing I'm creating problems and presently some problems are developing that I think are going to get worse. I have been looking at "Saitek" joysticks as I do want to stay with the joystick and separate throttle systems. SO, I would certainly appreciate suggestions from some of you experienced pilots.

thank you,

Larry Reeves

I use the Saitek X45 and love it, I was looking at the X52 but do not like the idea of going back to a twist rudder.

Definately another vote for the Saitek X45 . Easy to program , good quality , and lots of buttons! .

I second and triple that! Great joystick, I haven't had any problems at all with it.

Thanks to all of you for your response. The X-45 was the one i was leaning to so with your recommendations it will be the one I get.
