Set up google earth to draw GEO

I tryed it and finished an airport layout. I converted it to .sct and euroscope tells me "failed to open sectorfile extension". All I did was paste the .sct file with the rest of my sectorfiles then clicked load sectorfile and thats what came up. Any ideas?

also is there a way to make .sct2 files? and is there any advantage to making a sectorfile.sct2?

Try renaming the file from .sct to .sct2

"failed to open sectorfile extension" means, that ES can't find the .ese extension with the same name as the sct/sct2 file. You have to have a .ese file.

I want to see if the GEO is accurate so the only thing I have in my .sct is the GEO section. It isn't showing up when I load the sectorfile and check GEO in display settings. Is there something else I need to add for it to work besides ESE? Also, all I have in the ESE is some freetext which shows up fine and a few positions.

Check the colours of your GEO section, also it there any warning on loading the sct/sct2 file (or loading ES) ?

This is what I have for the .sct file so far. No errors show up on euroscope or anything. The ESE file only has a freetext of the airport ICAO so I know where the airport layout should be. As well, should I only put coastline etc in the Geo and have the airport layout in SID/STARs or will it work either way?

You can put what ever you wants there, as long as the format is correct. I was referring about the colour of GEO in ES's Symbologies options.

Thanks for all the help, I found a great tutorial explaining all of the sections of .sct2, I'll read up and hopefully it will fix the problems with my sectorfile. Here's the link if anybody else is interested.
