Erhan Atesoglu 1050499 Posted September 13, 2011 at 12:06 AM Posted September 13, 2011 at 12:06 AM Still if you read the AVSIM forum there are some noteworthy responses from actual insiders. OrbX: Announced support for FSX for at least 5 more years. Will also focus attention on Prepar3d. Prepar3d: Qualified that anyone willing to pay $500 for a simulator is more than welcome to purchase their product. So at the end of the day there are fairly sound contingency plans unlike last time. And even if $500 sounds like a lot, owning professional software has it's benefits including frequent updates, legacy support, prompt bug fixes, and even subscription rates. So effectively at $10 to $20 a month it would only cost the same as a subscription to World of Warcraft. http://www.pond64.net
