Can you pls help me chose which card to buy? I am new to FlightSim, so your opinion is really helpful.

My system

CPU - i3 540 3,07

4GB RAM DDR

GT440

So, I am planing to replace GT440. Do you recommend to change something else in my config instead of card? For ex. CPU?

TNX.

If choosing between ATI/nV for FS, always go with nVidia.

FS is mostly CPU dependent so I would advise you to get a new CPU first.

The new Sandy Bridge CPUs are quite cheep and overclock on air easily.

Tho, this means a new motherboard.

You can also get the old i5 7xx series which is also really good and you can keep your motherboard.

I really don't know how much money you arw willing to spend but first get the CPU and than gfx.

Why do you want to upgrade?

Cheers!

... I spawn hundreds of children a day. They are daemons because they are easier to kill. The first four remain stubbornly alive despite my (and their) best efforts.

... Normal in my household makes you a member of a visible minority.

Is there any way I can contact you, because I have a feeling we speak the same language. Ja sam iz BiH, pa ne bi trebalo biti problema. Imam FB, pa moze i tako.

@Luke - I want an upgrade because I want my system to be "up to date", so when the next sim arrives, I want to be prepared. And, few more fps on a higher settings is also a goal. FS is just like a drug - you always want more.
