i'd really want to learn and do ATC.

i've downlaoded the VRC program but I need a little help from there.

and as my english is ok but could be better

for that part i'd like someone that speak french to teach me as this part is really the main line for all of what is to come.

I would suggest that you make your way over to http://www.vatcan.org and click on "Become a Controller"...that will start you on your way. Make sure you indicate your desire to be [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned to the Montreal FIR.

Welcome to VATSIM!

I hear you there. You get excited about something then have to wait for replies. Just don't let the desire fade. In the meantime, try to read some of the controller docomeents found on the VATSIM website.

You have to graduate from the VATCAN NTU before you can proceed to your home FIR.

No getting around that.

Are there not two separate things going on here?

Sebastien wants a Francophone to help with translating the VRC system, but Jean seems intent on discussing ATC phraseology. Which needs to be learned in English as well as the ATC officer's native language.

Hi Sebastien,

You for sure will need to have a knowledge with both french and english phraseology. Although, you can be [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned to a french mentor/instructor for your training in the NTU. Once the NTU training is completed, you will find the training lots easiller if you still wish to join the Montreal FIR Team. If you would like to have a french instructor [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned, please don't hesitate to email the NTU Manager, Eldon Wilson (eldonw [AT] xplornet.com).

Bonne journée !
