Mathew Magera 931028 Posted October 15, 2011 at 01:55 PM Posted October 15, 2011 at 01:55 PM How do I turn a FlightAware route into a PLN file without using SimRoutes? I have no other applications or programs. SimRoutes was my only converter. To be clear, I do not need SimRoutes to find flightplans, I use FlightAware for that. It's the task of turning a route into a PLN file for FS that is the problem. Any help would be great. Thanks.
Rahul Parkar Posted October 15, 2011 at 02:22 PM Posted October 15, 2011 at 02:22 PM Miguel Frias' tool usually does the trick for me. http://fs.mine.nu/route2plan/ Cheers! Miguel Frias Posted November 23, 2011 at 11:24 AM Posted November 23, 2011 at 11:24 AM Tried it, but can't open the Flightplan once in FS9. Everything shows blank. There was a slight UNIX/Windows issue which is now solved. You might want to try now. If it doesn't work, let me know what flight plan you're using (basically origin, destination and route). Romano Lara Posted November 23, 2011 at 12:20 PM Posted November 23, 2011 at 12:20 PM That's a really neat tool, Miguel! Any chance you can include export for: iFly 737 & LDS 767? I've been looking all over the place how to create/download .FLTPLAN for the 737. Miguel Frias Posted November 23, 2011 at 12:24 PM Posted November 23, 2011 at 12:24 PM For iFly I have to learn its format, see if it's doable. For Level D, I have it done for my airline but forgot to set that up for FSMine... doing that now.
