Steven Caffey Posted October 22, 2011 at 01:45 PM Posted October 22, 2011 at 01:45 PM ZLA's fourth annual Suicide Ops event! Suicide Ops, as it's called, is normally only used at Los Angeles Int'l Airport during fair weather conditions and between midnight and 0700 local time for noise abatement purposes. However, for this event Suicide Ops will be in full swing by the early afternoon! You won't want to miss the thrill of seeing aircraft come straight for you while departing or arriving LAX. As always, ZLA Air Traffic Control will be top notch and you won't want to miss out on this unique event! Click the banner above for more information. VERY IMPORTANT: Please click on the "Pilot Info" tab for important information about routes, SIDS and STARS, as many common procedures are not used in this special configuration. Thank you!
