Pierre Theillere 861704 Posted December 29, 2005 at 03:23 PM Posted December 29, 2005 at 03:23 PM Hi All! How about a small (but big in size) Christmas present (a bit late!...) to change the "popular" thought that X-Plane isn't much "eye-candy"? So here's a video... flying over Paris on Issy Les Moulineaux - Bercy - Porte Mallot short jump at 500ft AGL on the EC120 v1.2. So... it's here: http://ps13.lhnet.org/EC120_X-Plane.AVI (297 MBytes - 21:52). It was recorded "live" on VatSim of course with XSquawkBox v1.0. If video doesn't play, don't "harm" your system with some codecs full of mal-, ad-, or spy-ware! Instead, feel free to try "VLC", an amazing universal freeware player... even playing QuickTime movies, and running on any OS that exists! It's here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Oooh, I was about to forgot... the background music is "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd, from "Wish You Were Here" album. Sorry for end of video with silence.... music only lasts 13:33, and movie 21:52. Enjoy! Pierre, LFPG, STV1010 PS: See http://pierre.theillere.free.fr/cockpit.html for more infos and also a ".txt" file with more movies and description. See also http://ps13.lhnet.org/MMMX_app.AVI for a movie of B744 on the challenging ILS DME-1 rwy 05R at Mexico-city using PS13 sim with FS2004 visual generator.
