Harold Rutila 974112 Posted October 31, 2011 at 08:56 PM Posted October 31, 2011 at 08:56 PM I'm confused as to how to use the mrt and mlt commands, specifically the syntax. When I enter "cto mrt," the program responds that I have inputted an invalid departure heading and that runway heading will be used. When I input "mrt cto," nothing happens, and when I input "mrt" after the aircraft takes off, that also doesn't work. What is the correct way to use this command? Dan Roistacher 1153968 Posted October 31, 2011 at 09:05 PM Posted October 31, 2011 at 09:05 PM Try combining them into one grouping such as ctomrt and ctomlt. When the aircaft is in the air you have to specify the specific leg. For example enter right downwind for runway 36 would be erd 36.
Ross Carlson Posted November 1, 2011 at 02:35 AM Posted November 1, 2011 at 02:35 AM Dan is right, there is no space in the command. Use "ctomrt" or "ctomlt" ... this command clears the aircraft for takeoff and to enter the specified pattern.
