dear sirs,

for the very first time i am trying to install a repaint over a existing model. new raf scheme over the tristar tom1011. repaint instructions are very clear until i get to the copy and paste the new files to the existing cfg. files. i quote, place the files under the aircraft section and change the ( fsxsim x )to the next number? here i am foxed, i am presuming that the first group of cfg.files listed is the the aircraft section which is designated (fsxsim 0) and the new files should be pasted underneath the last line of this section, i am now wondering if one should change the (...x )0f the new files to show ...1 in the first line above the new pasted files? first time i am trying this repaint fix and want to get it right and not destroy existing cfg files. many thanks-ken

Yes they need to be in the sequence

[fltsim.0]

title= Lockheed Tristart 1011

...

[fltsim.n]

title = Lockheed Tristar 1011 (repaint N)

[fltsim.n+1]

title = Lockheed Tristar 1011 (your new repaint)

so if the last entry was [fltsim.0] it would be [fltsim.1], if it was [fltsim.4] it would be [fltsim.5]

Before you try anything, make a copy of the .cfg file to another name or folder so that you can atleast go back to the original
