Aharon Dayan Posted November 6, 2011 at 02:53 PM Posted November 6, 2011 at 02:53 PM Shalom and greetings all my pals, REX is having 50 percent off sale. Before I decide to buy it on 50 percent off sale to enjoy SUPER REALISTIC clouds, can any FSF member with WEAKEST computer or laptop who has REX please tell me if this software can run smoothly in your pc or laptop? Remember I am also running FSX, FSCARS or VASF4, sqwkkbox 4.0, and vatsim at same time for flying. So adding REX can burden my laptop unless all of you tell me I am wrong. Thanks, Aharon
Romano Lara Posted November 6, 2011 at 03:05 PM Posted November 6, 2011 at 03:05 PM I used to run REX, ASE, LDS/PMDG on a P® 2.4ghz, 1gb RAM, 256MB video. I was getting 25-30fps. I'm sure you can run it well. Just use the low resolution clouds, I think they have a 256x256 clouds and 512x512 water textures. If you chose to install the HD clouds/water textures, that will of course eat more resources. Luke Kolin Posted November 6, 2011 at 03:09 PM Posted November 6, 2011 at 03:09 PM REX is having 50 percent off sale. I didn't see any sale, but if there is one I'm interested in buying it as well. FWIW, FSACARS or VAFS won't make any difference to your performance, nor should SB4 with FSX. Cheers! Luke ... I spawn hundreds of children a day. They are daemons because they are easier to kill.
