marcus holmes Posted November 9, 2011 at 04:10 PM Posted November 9, 2011 at 04:10 PM (edited) This has been bugging me since i brought FSX 3years ago. I find the when flying at night, it is not black outside like it should be and is way too bright. At night i can still see the clouds and the sky is more of a dark blue then a black. I know it not my monitor as i have had 3 other monitors before my current one and still had the same issues with them. Does anyone know of a way to adjust the night textures in FSX that will work? or maybe a addon that will darken the skies at night without effecting the day textures? I would be grateful for any help, i have put up with this issue for 3years but now i want more realism at night. Charan Kumar Posted November 9, 2011 at 07:19 PM Posted November 9, 2011 at 07:19 PM Try enbseries Marcus...the dll copied to the root uses a .ini file also at the root. Our screenshot forums have a lot of examples posted by some users. You can also manually adjust them, comes with a manual. Charan Kumar Posted November 10, 2011 at 01:41 AM Posted November 10, 2011 at 01:41 AM I believe so, but refer to their forums and help for how to use it. I don't have it so I can't really confirm. marcus holmes Posted November 10, 2011 at 10:36 AM Author Posted November 10, 2011 at 10:36 AM I look into the enbseries and have heard that it causes a frame rate drop which is not something i want. Can someone that uses enbseries confirm this is the case?
Charan Kumar Posted November 10, 2011 at 04:45 PM Posted November 10, 2011 at 04:45 PM Yes, it most definitely does, but each computer is different. Installation is copying two files, uninstallation is removing those two files, best way is to find out yourself before you dismiss it. I use it off and on, not always.
