Sava Markovic 1109329 Posted November 10, 2011 at 11:44 PM Posted November 10, 2011 at 11:44 PM As the topic name says, what do you look for in a VA? Are you looking for a fictional or a real based one? What do you like to see in a VA and what you dont't? What makes you want to join a certain VA? Share your thoughts please. As a side note, I created this topic so it can help me and other VA owners increase the quality of our/their services. I am sorry if I posted in a wrong subforum, and sorry for my English. Tooo late in my time-zone. Regards, Sava Markovic SCGvACC Events Coordinator

Brian Fuller 973577 Posted November 12, 2011 at 03:07 PM Posted November 12, 2011 at 03:07 PM Are you looking for a fictional or a real based one? Doesn't matter What do you like to see in a VA and what you dont't? Working ACARS, a fleet where once you download it, it actually works. A Management crew that if you post issues, they don't ignore it. Active forums. Recognition for accomplishments. No restrictions on aircraft you can fly (no ratings). What makes you want to join a certain VA? Look above
Romano Lara Posted November 12, 2011 at 04:02 PM Posted November 12, 2011 at 04:02 PM 1) Good management to pilot relationship 2) Active pilots, forums, and open line of communications 3) Good website, with good technical support 4) No bureaucracy. Meaning pilots should be able to approach the VPs, or even the CEO openly 5) Events. Group flights, to further the activity 6) Recognition Last but not the least; - If based on a real world airline, I expect them to simulate their counterpart's operation very well and not reinvent something out of blue.
