Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted November 17, 2011 at 03:56 AM Posted November 17, 2011 at 03:56 AM black textures would indicate graphics issue or your aircraft textures are corrupt. check your FSX settings, if its got an option for reflective textures, disable or enable it, you may also have to check your graphics card settings
Charan Kumar Posted November 17, 2011 at 04:15 AM Posted November 17, 2011 at 04:15 AM It could also mean missing textures, meaning u moved the folder or deleted the folder, or when copying files, didn't copy enuf folders, mainly the texture ones like E mentioned When is your next Flight||VATSIM HitSquad Member, ZOA/ZAK/GANDER/P1
Aharon Dayan Posted November 17, 2011 at 07:36 PM Author Posted November 17, 2011 at 07:36 PM Shalom and greetings all my pals, While I still have absolutely no idea where to find DX10 to deactivate, I had decided to uninstall recently installed FSX freeware TBPB Barbados international airport scenery and then used two FSX Deluxe cds to activate automatic repair function that did 20 minutes worth of repairing to my FSX. Presto my planes are now showing colorful textures as normal and I hope it would remain forever. Meanwhile I am going to spend next 7 days rigorously testing FSX and freeware planes to be sure there is nothing wrong. Pssst psst I do not think I have DX10 or even DX9 considering the fact I cannot even find it on my FSX or even on my laptop LOL Regards, Aharon
Charan Kumar Posted November 17, 2011 at 07:54 PM Posted November 17, 2011 at 07:54 PM ha ha , DX10 is an option on the Settings-General-Display section (somewhere in there) or maybe Hardware. DX9 and DX10 are components installed during windows, and I believe 7 already comes with DX11, but I could be wrong. Glad you have your textures back, you wouldn't be want to caught with your planes' pants down, that honor is only reserved for the pilots When is your next Flight||VATSIM HitSquad Member, ZOA/ZAK/GANDER/P1
Luke Kolin Posted November 17, 2011 at 08:03 PM Posted November 17, 2011 at 08:03 PM Pssst psst I do not think I have DX10 or even DX9 considering the fact I cannot even find it on my FSX or even on my laptop LOL If you didn't have DX9 FS9 or FSX would not even run.
