Deon Mathews Posted January 3, 2012 at 10:22 AM Posted January 3, 2012 at 10:22 AM Every Wednesday is group VFR night. These events have proven to be very popuplar and everyone is invited to join. As VFR flights are weather dependent, it is unwise to plan specific routes in advance. The route and aircraft type will therefor be decided on the day and any suggestions for interesting Group VFR flights are welcome. Join us on Teamspeak from 17h00z (19h00 local) for the flight briefing and lets go fly. Post your suggestions on the website http://www.vatsaf.com or on the Vatsaf forums under this post. Allways great fun for the pilots and very challenging for brave controllers... Follow us on Twitter @VATSAF See you there... "Take Pictures" All participants are invited to take screenshots during the event and the best ones will be published on this forum. Deon Mathews Posted January 5, 2012 at 04:55 AM Author Posted January 5, 2012 at 04:55 AM Yesterdays flight was awesome. Flying from Princess Juliana to St Barths and then back to Juliana. The guys displayed excellent flying skills and we only had one spill on the tricky St Barths approach. Hats off to all who participated for your excellent airmanship and flying skills. We'll do it again next week!! Deon Mathews Membership/Events Manager - VATSAF Deon Mathews VATSIM Marketing & Communications Team
