Gene Cao 1100087 Posted January 17, 2012 at 12:44 AM Posted January 17, 2012 at 12:44 AM The controllers guide says to use ASEL in order to radio select an aircraft. How does this work? Using the default ASEL, "+", I type callsign, followed by "+" and enter. This [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igns the a/c a new code. In the txt box itself, pressing enter will send message "DAL109+". Can you please explain how to put the a/c into the radio select box?

Can you please explain how to put the a/c into the radio select box? In the text box, type DAL109 and then press +, or whatever you have set as your ASEL key as set in the settings window (Ctrl+S to open). Don't type DAL109+ and then enter. In fact you should not even be able to do that, since + is supposedly the ASEL. Are you using the NumPad + sign, or holding down shift and pressing the + = button next to backspace? Ross Carlson Posted January 17, 2012 at 01:35 AM Posted January 17, 2012 at 01:35 AM Numpad +, but it still enters in a + sign. Did you inadvertently change your asel key to something other than the default? Dhruv Kalra Posted January 17, 2012 at 01:58 AM Posted January 17, 2012 at 01:58 AM Bearing in mind ASEL only works within the text comms window, and NOT within the radar scope window itself.
