RDVS Not working

First off, thanks Ross, for an AMAZING program!

I have one problem though. My intercom is not working. The monitor feature does not work, the intercom does not work, and override doesn't work.

Any by not working I mean; it lights up, starts blinking or whatever it is supposed to do, but I can't hear anything.

We tried with a few different controllers, and the others got their working, but when people try and call me - nothing. We're all on the same primary voice servers, made sure that the suffixes, prefixes and frequencies are correct, but no joy!

Any suggestions?

What firewall exception? No software firewall on, router; yeah, but I found no where in the manual that it specifies that I have to make an exception and/or forward ports.

Do landline calls work for you in VRC? Port forwarding and firewall requirements are the same.

Not sure, I don't think so, haven't used it in a while.

I did try and check the VRC manual as well, but found no references to ports there either.

EDIT: Forwarded the ports now, and still no joy!

Yeah, I remember coming across it on the VATSIM Forums.

I set my device on the router DMZ, but I have the rules here somewhere, I'll post them up when I find them (if Ross hasn't beaten me to it)

Cheers!

So yea, I did do that, and still no joy. Just tested it in VRC though, and that IS working!

Not sure what it might be ... best guess is a firewall blocking vSTARS from opening the UDP port. (This is all [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming you are absolutely sure you have a DA button set up for the position trying to call you.)

Yeah... It is blinking, so we are connected, just no sound!
