VATASIA is currently seeking experienced member to fill the vacant position of Divisional Director (VATKOR1) at the Korea Division (VATKOR) of VATSIM.

 

Job Responsibility:

 

1) Oversee the management affairs of the VATKOR division .

 

2) Work closely with VATSIM staff to ensure that membership record of VATKOR is appropriately following VATSIM rules.

 

3) Regularly coordinate with neighboring divisions on Letter-of-Agreement (LOA) and inter-divisional events

 

4) Report to VATASIA staff members frequently and promptly regarding the performance of the division and attend VATASIA quarterly meetings

 

 

Candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

 

1) Currently holding a ATC rating of C1 or above. INS/INS+/SUP rating is a plus.

 

2) Excellent command (both written and spoken) of English and Korean is a must. Candidate is expected to communicate fluently in English using ICAO standard phraseologies. Be able to communicate effectively with others

 

 

3) Candidates with previous staff experience at any FIR/ARTCC/division/region will have priority in the selection process.

 

4) Must possess teamplayer qualities to work with other divisions and members .

 

5) Willing to spend a considerable amount of their time for this position and maintain an online presence.

 

6) The candidate must be a member of the VATKOR division or be willling to transfer there if selected for the post .

 

 

7) The candidate selected for this position will be expected to be the role model for members in VATKOR.
