DirectX is reporting an error because UDP port 6073 is already in use. This can often be fixed by disabling your firewall or reconfiguring it to allow this port to be used by FSHost. McAfee's PrivacyService can also cause this problem. Some users have also reported that disconnecting their router from the internet before starting FSHost can fix the problem. I've tried disconnecting the firewall doesn't work, unplugging my router, doesn't work. My FS2k4 isn't picking up any session, I'm [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming because of this. Lennart Vedin Posted December 18, 2004 at 02:45 AM Posted December 18, 2004 at 02:45 AM > I've tried disconnecting the firewall doesn't work. It's a risk to dissconnect firewall. But if you take the risk, then disconnect as short you can just to make a short test. Are you sure you have disconnect all firewalls. You have a router. [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume you have XP than you must check XP firewall is complete turned off (XP firewall is not recommended to use with Vatsim). Then you still have the firewall in your router. You must then open ports in the router (this is not a risk), or turn firewall off or byp[Mod - Happy Thoughts] the router i.e. connect your PC direct to internet (this is the risk). What router do you have ? Also turn all antivirus program off during your installations and test. You can also search in this forum, most similar reasons to problem. / Lennart Vedin /

Thanks again!
