Clemens Martin Posted January 17, 2006 at 02:19 AM Posted January 17, 2006 at 02:19 AM Hi Eric, when you want to ATC control in the USA you have to choose an ARTCC where you belong to. Before you join one certain ARTCC you should read the VATUSA "ARTCC Evaluation Committee Website" http://vatusa.org/eval/index.html . There you can find the ARTCC's p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word. Keep in mind to carefully read the evals of all ARTCCs, so you know what will be expected. You only can control in 1 area (thats your chosen ARTCC). Some ARTCCs allow guest controllers from other ARTCCs, or if you really feel bad in one area you can fill out a transfer form. Read carefully, and it's also a good idea to check out different areas on ASRC as observer first. Hope that helps, Clemens ZME S-
Javier Larroulet Posted January 17, 2006 at 03:13 AM Posted January 17, 2006 at 03:13 AM the point of the ARTCC p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word is to somewhat make sure you did read the ARTCC descriptions, so you know what you're getting into Javier Larroulet (C3) - Chile vACC
