Anthony ImBoden Posted January 17, 2006 at 05:21 AM Posted January 17, 2006 at 05:21 AM (edited) Hey Folks I'm just wondering if there is a way that I could tell FSNav to use a route from SimRoutes, or similar, with out having to manually enter the flight data. Just to give you an idea, I'm trying to go from Toronto - Vancouver using this flight plan from SimRoutes. It takes me from Toronto to Vancouver going around the Great Lakes, staying in Canada. The route that FSNav gives me takes me thru the upper USA. Keep in mind, this is the route that is automaticly generated. Any help is apreciated on this. Joe Mifsud 928114 Posted January 17, 2006 at 04:05 PM Posted January 17, 2006 at 04:05 PM As far as I know the only way is to enter it manually which can be a pain with FSNAV because you cant type in a fix or anything. When I used FSNAV I searched and searched for a way but was never able to find one.
Nicholas Bartolotta 912967 Posted January 17, 2006 at 04:18 PM Posted January 17, 2006 at 04:18 PM You cannot just enter in a route like: CYYZ LESTER7 CALON YVV J531 SSM J500 YDC BOOTH BOOTH5 CYVR in FSNav...you need to manually enter the waypoint info. With FSBuild however, you can just paste that exact routing in and it will "build" and export your flight plan for you. Typically what I do is create my routing via FSBuild, then have it also export it to FSNav...so enroute I can make changes through FSNav easily.
