Wycliffe Barrett Posted August 1, 2013 at 02:48 PM Posted August 1, 2013 at 02:48 PM Hi As a member of the org I just got this for you not sure if it applies to you in anyway and I would laso ask if you was logged in 2.0 Rules and Ettiquette This is where you can find out what you can and can't do, and what will happen if you "break the rules." There is also a section that details the rules that the Moderators will follow for removing threads. 2.1 Language Although the Moderators and Administrator don't want to censor opinions, they will censor language that may be offensive to others. It is important to remember that the X-Plane community is global, and encomp[Mod - Happy Thoughts]es people of all races, nationalities, religions, and ages. Therefore, any member that uses offensive or potentially offensive language will have their post edited by a Moderator to delete the offensive word. There is no penalty for the occasional slip, but repeat offenders will be warned, with penalty ranging up to and including being banned from posting on the x-plane.org BB. 2.2 Behavior not tolerated Any behavior, to include offensive language, offensive posts not specifically using offensive language (hate posts, etc), flooding the BB with posts of which the sole purpose is to disrupt the community, hyperlinking pornographic material to the BB are examples of behavior not tolerated. This list is not all inclusive, and any Moderator or Administrator may edit or delete posts that are deemed to be offensive to any member of the x-plane.org BB community. Asking or instructing others how to byp[Mod - Happy Thoughts] X-Plane?s demo mode protection is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate banning. 2.3 Reasons for losing posting privileges/banning. Any member of the x-plane.org BB community that blatantly and repeatedly violates sections 2.1 and 2.2 of this FAQ may lose their posting privileges for a specified amount of time, or may be banned entirely. This is to ensure that the X-Plane community can exist without disruption due to unacceptable posts and behavior. The Moderators and Administrators will act decisively to ensure that the X-Plane community's integrity is not jeopardized in any way.
