Is there anybody out there who can explain me what did I wrong?

Thank you in advance.

The IP Address list in SB is very out of date.

One server that you can connect to is: 80.249.98.88

Type that into the Server Address box.

(Although that may not be the best one for your location.)

If you can connect to the above IP okay, then you are fine

Read the PDFs that come with the full software package on the vatsim site or look at the PRC, there is one there that tells you how to update your server list.

Have updated the SB IP-Adresses. The same message appears. Is there another idea how to solve my problem?

Stephen,

Before connecting, click on the dropdown box of servers.

Is 80.249.98.88 UK-1 in that list?

If it is then you have updated the list albeit it sure doesnt sound like it. If not you need to make sure and save that ipaddr.txt into your squawxbox folder.

Your VATSIM ID and P[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word go in those two boxes, and your callsign goes in the callsign box.
