George Condes Posted August 10, 2013 at 02:20 PM Posted August 10, 2013 at 02:20 PM VATEUD has launched the first in a number of ATC Academic Centres. These centres will be established in strategic locations in VATEUD with the first centre being launched in Cyprus vACC. The objective of the Centres is to provide ATC training to members of vACCs where traffic volumes are historically low or here is a shortage of qualified training personnel. The student will be tutored by a Divisional Instructor in a country that sees a fair amount of traffic, and when the student has p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed their relevant CPTs, they will return to their home vACC. These Centres will not duplicate the training efforts made by individual vACCs but will be an ancillary training facility within VATEUD. The Centres will be managed by Lukas Kulik who will be responsible for ensuring that training standards are maintained, local procedures are adhered to, and most importantly, that good relations are maintained with the host vACC. Anyone that would like to enroll with a VATEUD ATC Academic Centre can do so by sending a mail to [email protected].
