Bo Gercke 845743 Posted January 23, 2006 at 02:47 PM Posted January 23, 2006 at 02:47 PM It is with great pleasure that I announce the selection or Brandon Grchan to the Events Coordinator position at Jacksonville ARTCC. Brandon comes to us from the Atlanta ARTCC, where he was a fully rated Center controller. Prior to that, Brandon worked the Memphis ARTCC airspace. I expect great things to come from Brandon, and his work in the Events Coordinator position. Stay tuned for details on our first event with Brandon at the helm. On Saturday, February 11th, 2006, we will, in conjunction with vUPS, be hosting Cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] C Crazies. We anticipate having all of our major Cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] C airfields staffed to capacity for our VATSIM pilot’s enjoyment. You will see Jacksonville, Columbia, Tallah[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ee, Savannah, Daytona, and Charleston airfields staffed. Please help me welcome Brandon to the Team. Bo Gercke 845743 Posted February 2, 2006 at 12:19 AM Author Posted February 2, 2006 at 12:19 AM Josh, Thanks for the kind words, though I feel like I really haven't done much. It's the Team who has made me look good. I give all of the credit to my incredible Staff, and the many hard working, dedicated controllers that we have at ZJX. I just steer the ship, the Team is the magic in making it work. That said, I would like to say thank you to all of the pilots who choose to fly in our airspace. The increased traffic levels are much appreciated by everyone in the facility. It has allowed us to provide better training, and promote people in an efficient amount of time. Thank you.
