Brady Weston 1165528 Posted August 27, 2013 at 10:05 PM Posted August 27, 2013 at 10:05 PM I went to fire up the ol' sim today and it immediately "quit unexpectedly." I tried a few more times, kept crashing. So I noticed that at the bottom of the screen where it shows what is being loaded it quits as soon as XSquawkbox displayed. So I took XSB out of the plugins folder and... X-Plane opens up like a charm. So... What do I do? Did something weird happen?
Mike Evans Posted August 27, 2013 at 10:22 PM Posted August 27, 2013 at 10:22 PM This was a byproduct of the status server moving to a temporary location.. it's fixed now! Mike Evans
Brady Weston 1165528 Posted August 27, 2013 at 11:17 PM Author Posted August 27, 2013 at 11:17 PM Eeeeeexcellent. Just fired it up and it works. That's weird, though. I had no idea that the program interacted with any servers while it was booting up.
