Due to DNS relocation the vateud.net domain and any of its subdomains might be briefly unresolvable on Thursday, August 29th.

 

The duration of that downtime depends on the amount of time it will take for the DNS changes to propagate across the network and also depends on the DNS caching that your local ISP is using. It can be anything between 10 minutes and a few hours, although commonly for most ISPs it does not exceed 30 minutes.

 

No A records will be changed at this time, so if uninterrupted access to the EUD infrastructure is crucial for you or for your application, you can create a temporary DNS record in your operating system's "hosts" file pointing to the current IP of the vateud (sub)domain you want available. Just remember to delete it later, because we do plan some physical server changes in the not-so-distant future.
