Board of Governors Roger Curtiss Posted January 27, 2006 at 03:13 AM Board of Governors Posted January 27, 2006 at 03:13 AM No doubt this has been asked and answered many times before but I could find no reference to it in the search function. How can I set up FS9 so that the CD#4 is not needed to run the program? Dave Weese 817228 Posted January 27, 2006 at 04:01 AM Posted January 27, 2006 at 04:01 AM From what I understand you can use a program like Clone CD to create a virtual CD Drive and image Disk 4 there. Only think is you have to install FS9 from this virtual disk so that FS knows to go looking there for Disk 4. I hope MS comes up with a better system then this for FS10, a downloadable license file like you get when you buy music online would work better. There are other ways, but this forum is not the place to discuss them. Sorry guys but we just can't allow discussions on how to defeat software copyright protection on the VATSIM forums. I agree it is comebersome but that is what Microsoft decided to do so we just have to live with it and hope that they come up with something a little less inconvenient in FSX. George S.
