[27.10.13 17.30z - 20.30z] Single Runway Operations

On Sunday October 27th, Belux vACC will be organizing Single Runway Operations.

 

This means that all departures and arrivals will use one runway. Be prepared for an immediate takeoff, a late landing clearance or maybe a hold before arrival!

 

The event will run from 17.30z until 20.30z and takes place at Brussels Natl. (EBBR).

If wind conditions allow, we will try to use runway 01 or 07R, both of which are not usually used for both departures and arrivals.

 

We look forward to welcoming you on our single runway in use that night!

Hi,

 

Unfortunately a mistake was made in our timing.

Winter Time went into place yesterday (and not tonight), which means that the event was supposed to begin at 18.30z, not 17.30z.

 

Most of our controllers will only be online as from 18.30z, but to compensate for any inconvenience, we have managed to get a team that will start staffing as from 17.30z already. A Minimum Coverage of Brussels Control and Brussels Tower is guaranteed. At 18.30z, we have a full house as planned.

 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, we hope you will enjoy your flight regardless!
