Have only just joined Vatsim community and haven't been able to fly a successful flight yet because 2 or 3 minutes into the flight whenever I select "speed hold" and autopilot the airspeed indicator winds down to zero , true airspeeds increases dramatically, nose pitches up and it's impossible to control. I use B737-400 wwhich I have flown for many many hours offline and I think I know quite well how to operate (perhaps not!). I do think that Squawkbox probably interferes with the game, because I have no problems when flying offline.

Has anyone else experienced this? if you have and you've sorted it please help!!

Carlos,

The issue is Pitot Heat. Offline you are not subject to real weather. Online you are.

Not entirely true Norman. Offline, as long as you're using downloaded weather, either from FS (Jepp) or any other 3d party weather injector, icing can still be a problem.
