Stephan Reitinger 1163027 Posted November 22, 2013 at 09:45 PM Posted November 22, 2013 at 09:45 PM Dear Controllers and Pilots, dear colleagues, It is a sad day for VATSIM and VATEUD to learn that George Condes, VATEUD Divisional Director has notified us about his resignation from the EUD Director's position. We believe George has been one of the bes t directors ever been in VATSIM European Division and it was really a pleasure working with him. George has filled this position for only 9 months with p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ion, dedication and professionalism therefore we would like to thank him for his commitment. He was leading an excellent and highly motivated team, and we have seen a lot of improvements over the last months, not only on community level, event promotion and activity in the Division, but also on the technical side - if you look at the VATEUD website and infrastructure today, a lot of significant and partly mind-blowing improvements have been accomplished. It is sad to see the captain leaving the ship, but VATSIM bureaucracy keeps on. We will have to continue to work on our projects, making VATEUD one of the best Division worldwide, and hope for the ongoing support of the remaining EUD management team. Expect the announcement and the call for application for the open position in the next days. Please join me in wishing George all the best for his future, both private and on VATSIM. George, it has been a pleasure working with you, hope to see/hear/read you in the future as well! Best Regards and Thank you on behalf of VATEUR, Stephan Reitinger Deputy Region Directory Europe, VATEUR2

Stephan Reitinger 1163027 Posted November 25, 2013 at 03:01 PM Author Posted November 25, 2013 at 03:01 PM Dear colleagues, please join me in appreciating George's return to the crew after a few days of VATSIM holiday! As it was not possible to achieve unanimous consensus in the team to approve any prolongation of his absence , George has been "called back" into the Captain's seat at VATEUD, which he thankfully accepted based on the dedicated support and committement of the rest of the team. George, on behalf of VATSIM and VATEUR, welcome back on board again! Hopefully you enjoyed your few days off and relaxed a bit, as there are a lot of topics and challenges to drive and keep VATEUD Division as prosperous as we are used to! We are looking forward to continue the successful journey with you and your team, on behalf of VATEUR, Stephan Reitinger Deputy Region Director Europe, VATEUR2
